01 Fees & Payment

• Full payment for all courses is required at the time of enrollment unless an alternative arrangement has been confirmed in writing by ATX Driving School.
• ATX Driving School reserves the right to change its fee structure without prior notice. Changes will not apply to students who have already completed enrollment and payment for their selected course.

02 Cancellation & Refunds

Driving Lessons & Courses

• A full refund is available if a student cancels the enrollment contract within three business days of signing, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, provided the student has neither completed the course nor accepted a certificate of completion.
• Refund calculations are based on instruction received through the effective termination date. The effective date is the earliest of:
  • The date ATX Driving School terminates the enrollment.
  • The date the school receives written notice from the student.
  • The 10th school day following the student's last day of attendance.
• After the three-business-day cancellation period, refunds are not ordinarily granted, except where ATX Driving School determines that exceptional circumstances justify a refund or applicable law requires one.
• Students who complete the course and accept a certificate of completion within the initial three-business-day period are not eligible for a refund.
• If a student withdraws or fails to begin the course after the 72-hour cancellation window, ATX Driving School may retain up to $50 for administrative and processing fees and refund the remaining tuition for services not provided, subject to applicable law.

Situations Eligible for a Full Refund

A full refund of tuition and fees will be provided if:

• The student is not accepted by ATX Driving School.
• The school discontinues the course at the current location.
• Enrollment was obtained through misrepresentation in advertising or by school representatives.

DPS Road Test Refunds

• A full refund is available for road test cancellations requested at least 24 business hours before the scheduled appointment.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 business hours' notice, or missed appointments, will incur a $40 cancellation fee, deducted from any eligible refund.
• Arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled road test time is considered a no-show. The test will be canceled, and a $40 rescheduling fee will apply.
• A road test purchase includes one initial attempt and one complimentary retest. After the initial attempt has been completed, the complimentary retest remains available under the applicable retest conditions but is non-refundable.
• Refund requests for DPS road tests submitted more than 24 hours after purchase are subject to a $30 administrative fee. Requests submitted within 24 hours of purchase are exempt from this fee.

03 Rescheduling & No-Shows

To avoid additional charges, requests to reschedule driving lessons or road tests must be submitted at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Late Rescheduling Fees

• Driving lessons: $25
• Road tests: $40

• All outstanding rescheduling fees must be paid before a new appointment can be booked.
• Arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time for a driving lesson or road test will be classified as a no-show, and the applicable rescheduling fee will be charged.

04 Course Completion

• Students must complete both the In-Class and In-Car components of their course within three months of registration.
• Failure to complete both components within this period may result in forfeiture of the course without a refund, subject to applicable law and any written extension approved by the school.

05 DPS Road Test Requirements

• The complimentary second attempt must be completed within 30 days of the initial test date. Failure to meet this deadline may result in forfeiture of the complimentary retest.
• Students must view the required IMPACT Video before or on the day of their scheduled road test. Failure to do so will result in a fee.
